Business is booming for Saskatoon Kid-trepreneurs

Business is booming for Saskatoon Kid-trepreneurs

Supporting local businesses has seen a push in the past year, be it friends in my social feeds tagging independent restaurants in their foodie pics or groups like Local Love Saskatchewan Shopping Guide and Eat Drink Shop YXE offering sourcing and gift-giving advice within an online community. The need was punctuated early on by some sad losses of small YXE businesses while big players like Wal-Mart clearly had nothing to worry about. The realization that we’re all in this together has, for many people, meant shopping small has been more top of mind than ever. It’s a mindset that I believe will continue on well after the pandemic. And if the youngsters in our community are any indication, there will be plenty of small businesses to support for generations. I’d like to share a few up-and-comers who are earning and learning. These are the Saskatoon kid-trepreneurs to watch.
