On now- LEGO Mosaic building events at Saskatoon Public Library locations Help to make a massive LEGO mural by completing a 6x6 dot piece that’s added to a larger square. There are branch events running all through the summer so be sure to check out some dates and locations. Free.

Thurs 6:30pm- Globe BMX races. This is a weekly event open to spectators. Free.

Fri 5-9pm & Sat 10am-8pm- Car Racing at SIR $10-40, under 12 free

Sat 10am-5pm- Doukhobor Dugout House wedding reenactment and vow renewal. A unique opportunity at a beautiful, rich historical site one hour North of Saskatoon (by Blaine Lake). $45/couple for vow renewal. Or visit the site and museum $14/adult, $12/senior, $8/youth, under 12 free.

Sat 11am or 4:30pm- Monster Trucks at Prairieland, $35/adult, $20/child and up

Sat 1pm-1am- Festival Fransaskois at Manhattan Ballroom An all-ages celebration of French culture in Saskatoon… this will be fun whether you speak the language or not! 1 p.m.–5 p.m. – Free programming, outdoor activities and art installations; 5pm-8pm – BBQ (meal included with ticket) ; 5pm – 11pm – Paid indoor show; 11 PM – 1 AM – Karaoke. Tickets start at $20 (pay what you can style) 

Sat 1pm- Space Jam is screening at Remai Modern, $10/adults, free for members & under 18

Sat 6:3-pm- Art with Jess YXE summer kick off paint nite at Ricky’s All Day Grill, ages 10+ welcome. Register: $35

Sat & Sun 11am-4pm-19+ Modern Artmakers all-ages drop-in workshop at Remai Modern by donation, free for members & youth under 18

Sat & Sun 10am-10pm- Ganbatte Anime Comic Expo and Convention at TCU Place, $60+

Sun 11am-8pm- Jashan-e-Baharan Kite Festival at Rotary Park Hosted by the Pakistani Canada Cultural Association of Sasaktoon, this event features kite flying, live multicultural performances, ethnic food vendors, family games & activities, cultural displays & more. Free admission.

Sun 1pm- TD Saskatchewan Jazz Festival kicks off at Victoria Park Free programming is on first, don’t miss out! There’s also a free family games zone, local market, & food trucks. Yoga is Sun 1:30, first live music act is at 3pm. See the site for a full list and schedule of performers! Free admission July 5, 8, 9, &11. (Other dates are ticketed.)
