New Year's Eve fireworks & family events in Saskatoon

“Are there New Year’s Eve fireworks in Saskatoon for 2026?” I’ve had many DMs asking this question! And while there are no fireworks sponsored by City of Saskatoon for the occasion, you’ll be happy to know that two community leaders DO put on a show. You’re also welcome to put on a fireworks show of your own. Keep reading for info on fireworks, plus a few family-friendly NYE events.

If you find the resources I make helpful, I appreciate your continued support on my @sneaksandlipstick Instagram, my Sneakers & Lipstick Facebook page, and/or my @sneaksandlipstick TikTok page. Your follows, likes, and interaction (especially on my paid posts) are what enables me to be a truly local Influencer, full-time! Now, here’s where to catch some fireworks this New Year’s Eve in Saskatoon:

  • Stonebridge New Year’s Celebration Our community association is hosting a bunch of fun stuff on the 31st including a snowball throwing contest, homemade toboggan contest, and more. And yes, fireworks! This display has long been put on by Darcy Taylor (he now also runs a GoFundMe through the year so keep an eye out for that if you’d like to contribute to next year’s display). Join the celebration behind Chief Whitecap School in Stonebridge (with fireworks going off around 7:30pm).

  • Avalon Community Association Fireworks at John Lake Park, being set off around 7pm.

And some family-friendly events happening December 31, 2026:
